Take a look at one of the projects BGMC has assisted with here in the United States!

BGMC partnered with Hillcrest Children's Home to help restore a dorm that houses children and their houseparents. The Garrison dorm had a major water leak that literally destroyed this house. The damage required that the house be completely rebuilt-from the flooring to the roof, from rewiring to drywall. To bring the building up to code, the construction cost $175,000. Thanks to BGMC kids and their leaders across the nation, children at the Hillcrest Children's Home now have a like-new place to live.

Background Information

The Garrison dorm houses 12 students, a two-bedroom apartment for their house parents, and a relief house-parent apartment. It also contains a large kitchen where the house parents prepare meals and a common area where children gather just to relax and feel at home.

Hillcrest Children's Home operates under the Assemblies of God Family Services Agency (AGFSA) and is located in Hot Springs, Arkansas. AGFSA director Jay Mooney is working diligently to help more children find refuge at the Hillcrest Children's Home.
